Build the assistant that does the work.
Wagt is live at wagt.ai. Three people, one product that already runs in real accounts, and one seat open for a developer who wants their code in production the week they write it.
Every application is read by the founder, not by a filter.
You would be the first engineer we bring in, working next to the founder on the whole surface: the agent that plans and executes tasks, the app library it acts through, the web product, and the billing behind it.
This is not a research seat and it is not a maintenance seat. Wagt is an agent that does things inside a subscriber's own Gmail, calendar, sheets and store, in Saudi dialect Arabic, over the chat apps they already open. That means prompts, tools, evals and a real production system, all in the same week.
We work in the office in Riyadh, most days, because at three people the whiteboard is the product.
What we need
- Obsessed with AI. You already build with agents, prompts and evals for fun.
- In the office in Riyadh, with the team, most days. This part is not flexible.
- Full stack: TypeScript, Next.js, Node, Postgres. You own a feature end to end.
- You ship weekly. A week with nothing in production is a bad week.
- Arabic and English. The product speaks Saudi dialect, so its builder must too.
- You read code you did not write, find what is wrong, and fix it unasked.
What we do not care about
- A degree. We will read your code, not your transcript.
- A famous company on your CV.
- Ten years of experience. Two things you actually shipped beat ten quiet years.
- Permission. If you need to be told what to do next, this will not be fun for you.
One honest thing before you apply
We are early. The product is live and ten testers finished real tasks in it, and nobody has paid us yet, because the free trials are deliberate while the product proves itself. If that reads as risk, it is. If it reads as the earliest you could ever join something real, we should talk.
Six things, and evidence instead of adjectives. No cover letter, no portfolio deck.
